VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT FOR ARCHIVES and MUSEUM ACTIVITIES

Skills required include the following: Data Entry: Computer skills are needed to help us with the mammoth task of entering data into the Biographical and Museum Collection data bases. Volunteers will be guided by experienced people and arrangements will be made for you to be able to work at a time to suit during school hours in air conditioned comfort. Display Preparation: Volunteers with experience in preparing both Powerpoint and static photographic and other displays are needed. These skills will advance our preparations for the School's Centenary Celebrations. Go-fors: Go-for this or go-for that! There is plenty of work to be done in setting up our new workspace. If you are interested in helping in some way we would like to talk to you. General cleaning, re-furbishing, sorting, polishing and classifying of other artefacts and memorabilia are just some of the activities we can offer. Historical and Museum Committee Are you interested in how it all works, and where we are headed in the future? Decision makers are an important asset for the future of this enterprise. In particular we are seeking a minute secretary for our occasional two-hourly meetings usually scheduled for a Monday afternoon at the School.All people wishing to volunteer will be assessed for their suitability for particular aspects of the work. Orientation to our aims and activities and requirements will be available and special training may be offered if considered necessary.Come back to your old School and help re-create the past for the future.
