CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS ANNOUNCED

Eight major Centenary Celebrations have been announced.  The events are aimed to cater for a wide range of interests and for all members of the Perth Modern School Community.  Details are on the Perth Modern School Today page. 

The Gala Dinner will take place on the forecourt of the 1909 building and will feature music from former students now prominent in the world of jazz. 

The Concert in the Perth Concert Hall will feature three commissioned works, two by former Mod students and one by a prominent West Australian composer.  Works being commissioned are for the Symphonic Wind Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra and for chamber choir.

The Art Exhibition in November will feature works by prominent former students, current students, and works from the extensive art collection from the school, including some digitally remastered copies of the prints brought back to the school from London by Joseph Parson, the first Headmaster, in 1912.
