Passing of Raymond Stewart Middleton, 1917-2010

Third of five boys, Raymond Stewart Middleton attended PMS from 1930-32. He married Orma Perry, also a PMS student 1937-40. Ray was a World War II veteran, ex-POW, a highly respected member of Fremantle Legacy Club, Life Member of Rockingham RSL, a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Commissioner of Declarations, Village Treasurer, Finance Committee Chairman and Chartered Secretary. A transcript of an interview with Ray is available on the companion CD available with the book "Perth Modern School, the History and the Heritage". Ray passed away peacefully at Murdoch Hospice on July 14, aged 93.
