{"id":66,"date":"2015-03-20T05:45:00","date_gmt":"2015-03-20T05:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jinda.net.au\/perthmodernian\/?page_id=66"},"modified":"2025-12-10T23:39:58","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T15:39:58","slug":"honours-awards","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.perthmoderniansociety.org.au\/index.php\/society\/honours-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Honours Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>The Perth Modernian Society Honours Awards are comprised of the following three categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Modernian Fellow<\/strong> &#8211; <em>the highest award made to a limited number of members of the Society or those who qualify to be a member, for distinguished service to the advancement of education at Perth Modern School<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Moderna Scola Award<\/strong> &#8211; <em>for significant service to the advancement of education at Perth Modern School<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Honorary Member of the Perth Modernian Society <\/strong>&#8211; <em>made to i<em>ndividuals not eligible for Society Membership<\/em> for distinguished service to the advancement of education at Perth Modern School<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Three inaugural Modernian Fellows &#8211; <strong>Sallie Davies<\/strong>, <strong>Malcolm McCusker<\/strong> and <strong>Donald Tyler<\/strong> &#8211; were announced at the 2014 Annual Reunion, and presented with certificates and mementos at an awards ceremony at the School in December 2014.
